Hey Guys, I figured it would be a good idea to create a thread where people can break the ice and introduce themselves. Just something short and simple will suffice if you're new to the community and it's a great way for us to get to know each others manual backgrounds, whether you're just starting out or a seasoned vet. Anyway, I'll kick things off shall I. 
I live in sunny Brisbane, Australia and this is my first year back in FIFA since 13. I started playing on full manual controls in 12 and was part of a manual community in both 12 and 13 where we ran leagues, cup and tournaments year round, it was a great change from having to play the assisted players in regular games all the time. I've gradually gotten better as time has progressed although I don't think manual controls is something you ever completely master no matter how good you actually are, I still learn new things now.
Here's hoping this community can breathe new life into the manual way of playing

Hi all , I have been playing manual fifa since fifa 11 and my playing style probably makes me lose more than I should as I like to pass pass pass as much as possible ! I have been involved in manual leagues and have played some great players. I dislike players who play in an assisted rush ball style as I think if you want to play manual than try and play pretty a bit! I would say I am a average player as never got above div 4 in seasons as I'm not prepared to change my style....I'm 41 years old with a Mrs and three kids and should know better but I love playing the game and probably be doing it when I'm sixty if still alive! Hello everyone. My names Harold and I'm a very horribly bad Manual FIFA player. My proof? I got got hammered 0-11  . I've been playing FIFA since the Megadrive, such fun was had back then. I even loved the indoor football! or even just simulating a complete tournament with everyone in the family picking a team. Gone though are the days of fun FIFA. Now all we are ever left with is buggy games and frustration. FIFA could do more to try and promote Manual of a new way of playing FIFA. Anyway I babble on, I pretty much started playing Manual from FIFA 12. I have always struggled with FIFA, including using Assisted. So I decided one day, hey why not? So I put all my settings to Manual and I have never played assisted since (I know right! and I still suck really bad). This is my first FIFA game since FIFA 13. I didn't play 14 as by this time I had stopped following football (used to watch my local team IRL). I have mates who was buying 15, so I was tempted by it, and decided to buy it. Mainly to play with my mates via Pro Clubs. So here I am, controller in hand. Ready for another ass wooping. People may ask me, "if you're so bad, then why not change to assisted?". Well I don't like the code doing the work for me, I always got hammered using Assisted so this makes no difference. I like the free feeling you get, I like the accomplishment of winning a game, or even just scoring for that matter. The whole game feels and plays much better on Manual. I bought for to act as a football simulation, but an arcade easy to play football game. So no, regardless of how bad I may be. I will never go back. Hellooooo all, am I glad I found this site. Been sitting here for the past 55 minutes trying to find a manual game with no luck :/ I've been a manual player since fifa 11 and best gaming decision I've ever made. Was introduced to playing manual with the pro camera by a fella named Asle and never looked back. I'm Edgar 33 years old married with 4 kids ,and live in a suburb near Chicago illinois. I'm usually available for games during the daytime as my wife and kids all but one go to school. So if you looking for a friendly or two let me know. I just found out about this community through EA forums. Great idea, guys!
From my experience full manual control in FIFA 15 is even harder than previously (13 or 14). And assisted controls turn every average joe into Xavi or Iniesta.
I am not the greatest player ever, but now I can't seem to win any game against assisted players - I have yet to find any manual matches in XBOX ONE. Not gonna lie...it gets frustrating, defeat after defeat.
So if anyone is interested in playing manual, add me on XBOX ONE: GammaRayNWO
Please, I am getting very sad and depressed after losing so many games!

Sup yall. Been on and off of Manual since about 2011. Im not that great at it, but I do enjoy it. Never really play human vs. human all Manual so Im looking forward to seeing how that plays out.

Hi guys, my name is Joe and Im from Hong Kong where the umbrella revolution is going on right now!
Anyways I have been playing full manual since FIFA 10, been 4 years now i think im only decent, not anywhere near where i wanna be stil...Im sick of benig beaten by assisted players who only play thru balls or ping pong and score some amazing goal thinking they are god.
I cant believe FIFA 15 remove the lobby where that was the only place to find manual players. And this year i feel the assisted are even more assisted than ever before!Which is ridiculous.
I hope i could have some nice full manual games with you guys. I have yet to have my first manual game in FIFA 15...

Hey Joe, do you know it's possible to search for Manual only games? I use this for Online Seasons (not 100% sure on other game modes, but I think it should be the same). After you have clicked Play Now, you should see something onlong the lines of Matchmaking Settings. In here you can change these to say Manual Controls.
Just be careful after a game though. Sometimes it's gone back to default search, so you need to leave finding next match and set it again to Manual.

I'm Jasebannon from Barbados West Indies,Manual player from FIFA 10,joined TAMFA and was a member till it dissolved (broke my heart)looking for manual tournaments and players on Xbox one.Plays hard but Fair ,hates to lose but always complements the winner if i do lose (learned that in TAMFA).

Thanks bro, I know that but I also know it will take me 6 hours to get a manual game so there is no point doing that. Well in the past when there is a manual lobby at least i can open a room there so that someone who would like to play manual can join the game, usually i wait like 10-15 mins i would get a game and while waiting i can do other stuff. But now its impossible to even get a manual game which is ridiculous. So gather the manual players to play against each other is the only way to go, shame on you EA coz i always think that full manual players are the only ones who really appreciate the game. |

Hey everyone. I'm Peter from the N.Ireland. I've been playing manual FIFA since 08, online since 10. Like Jase I was previously a member of TAMFA from FIFA 10 until it dissolved. I played on the TAMFA pro club team and co-founded and still manage one of, if not the longest running manual Pro clubs on the Playstation (Real FMC, renamed Manual Controls in 13 & 14 and now known as Real Manual FC on PS4).
Anyway, if I'm not playing pro clubs I enjoy some 1v1 and have tried unsuccessfully to find a manual H2H seasons game this year. Thankfully, a fellow member of my pro club told me about here. So hopefully I can join in a few tournaments or just play some friendlies.

'Sup y'all. I'm Cory from Boston, MA. I've only started playing manual FIFA in 2014 and I haven't done so online yet. I've tried playing w/ manual controls on career mode on WC difficulty and wins were really super duper hard to come by so I had to demote myself to Professional (and the wins are still sparse haha).
I'm on PS4 and my PSN is CorytheA. Feel free to add me so we can get some manual 1v1 games going! I'm also looking for a co-op buddy if anyone is up for it.

I'm from Copenhagen, Denmark, 25 years old and have played FIFA since the best game ever, FIFA98 RTWC. I've played full manual since FIFA09, and I'm currently a member of pro club Real Manual FC with Psymon and Heimdall above.
Great to see a new manual community sity, hopefully this one will last.

To answer your questions Spacedeck, RMFC have 9 active members currently, I think, and we play on average I'd say 3 nights a week. Stats say we've played a bit more than 1000 games a year over the last two years. So, as active as we can!

hello fellow manual players. im from finland, been playing with manual since fifa 12. most of the time i play with friend and we play h2h seasons. him as guest. i do play alone as well but not as much. im a decent player, but terrible finisher. its shame they removed the practice arena, coz i use to love just go there and practice. but anyway cant wait to play against you all.
