Season 2 has concluded and we'll just head straight into the next season. During Season 2 we tried to run two divisions which didn't exactly work out as planned. Because of the low rate of participation in Division 2 we will reset all the spots for it and relegation/promotion won't be applied as planned because of this. Instead we will have one division with 12 participants.
Registering for our tournaments means that you will show respect towards your opponents and fulfill your duty by working to play all your matches. Even though you get a bad start and don't have the chance to win after some games you still have agreed to play all your matches with respect for the league and the opponents, this is the way to prove that you are a reliable player that can be counted on for the future aswell. Following these rules will make the experience here more enjoyable for everyone.
This tournament will be played on PS4 and there are, as mentioned, 12 spots to fill for Division 1. 8 spots for Division 1 are offered to previous participants and it's their choice to take it or not. The bottom four of Division 1 will get the first four spots in Division 2 next season. If the interest becomes higher we will of course expand and add more divisions for future seasons. The same goes for other consoles, if there are enough people wanting to join in on another console we will of course do our best to open up a league for them aswell.
Rules
The rules for the league are very basic. The 12 participants will face each other twice, each player facing his opponent as the home team once and away the second to create fair circumstances for both parts. If you win a match, you gain 3 points. If you draw, both players get 1 point each. The one with the most points at the end of the season, when everyone has played 22 games, is the winner of the FIFA Manual Champions League - Season 3. If two or more participants end up on the same amount of points the ranking is determined as follows:
1. Goal difference
2. Amount of goals scored
If two or more participants still are ranked equally they will be divided by the results only against each other. If two participants still are equal after this step they will get to play a one-tie final to determine who is the winner. If that ends with a draw another game between the two shall take place. This process goes on until we have a winner.
Every match has to be played between Monday 17/11 and Wednesday 17/12. We'll have a full month to complete all the games for this season. The results shall be reported by both parts after the games have finished in the official thread for the tournament. It's very important that both parts confirm the result to make sure we get them right.
The match rules will be as follows:
The matches will be played as online friendlies so you will have to add each other on PSN.
Picking teams
For Season 3 you get to pick any club on the entire game (with the obvious exception of Adidas All-Stars, Classic XI and MLS All-Stars and such). We will pick teams in a separate thread and there won't be any randomized order for it. Whenever you're on after the picking has started you can simply go to this thread and claim your team. I will contact everyone when it's time to pick teams as well as I can. To not give me a huge advantage as I will actually write when it's time to pick teams I will randomize a number between 1 and 12 for myself which shows when I am allowed to pick a team.
The winner gets, apart from fame and great honor the privilege to choose what kind of teams will be used for the next season. It could for example be "Teams from a certain country", "Teams that start on a certain letter" or "Teams with max/min/exactly 1-5 stars". The possibilities are endless.

If there still is room in Division 2 you will be added there, otherwise you are added as a reserve. If we gather enough reserves we will add a further division, if not for this season then for Season 4.
Whoever has a question mark behind his name shall leave an answer as soon as possible. If the reserves list starts to fill up and someone hasn't answered in a long time, they might lose their spot and go back to the reserves list. Those who don't have their PSN written behind their names shall provide that aswell when answering/registering.
