Hi guys!
I'm sure that many of you are just as disappointed as I am about the development and activity of this community. I'm writing this to clarify what has actually happened and why it is so.
First of all, I began with this project a couple of months ago while I was unemployed. I thought I had plenty of time to run this.
Just a few weeks later I got a new job which has come to take a whole lot of my time and apart from that I live with my girlfriend which also takes some time. It's not always appreciated to sit by the computer or Playstation for several hours in a row.
The explanation to the decreased activity in this community is therefore very simple. This project requires more time and effort than I have been able to provide it with on my own for the last few weeks.
I wouldn't like to give up on running a manual community as this has given me some of the best experiences in FIFA ever and it has proven that there are some really noble players out there which I almost had given up on. I still think there are a lot of us out there who wish to have a continuosly active home for manual players that one can always turn to no matter if you'd like to play or just have a word with likewise people. I don't think that we have overestimated the demand out there. Remember that it so far has been almost exclusively PS4-players only registered. We still have more consoles to cover and if we can get some good publishment I'm sure that we really can get this ball rolling. This can be done by advertising, recruiting and co-operation.
This requires a team running the community and not just an individual. We need a proper and functionable website that actually is useful apart from the forum.
If the desire still is there among you then I really think we should give it a shot and make a team to run this thing. I am ready to invest a bit in a proper do man for a new and professional website.
I will, as I have said earlier, contact some of you which I would like to handpick for this group and see if you're interested. You can still announce your interest by simply leaving a comment here or let me know at PSN if you are interested.
I think that we should redo the whole thing. Let's find a new name, logo and a whole new interface for the manual community that people wish for to have.
To me it isn't really important that we get a whole lot of members, just that every manual player always has somewhere to turn to.
