Why don't we just let the new guys into the league as we haven't started yet.? My only concern is that since the site is new and the member number low the one thing we don't want to do is make it seem like we turning them away.

My only concern is that since the site is new and the member number low the one thing we don't want to do is make it seem like we turning them away. The reason is that I don't want to be to naive, I want a "safe ride" for the first tournament and show that we can pull this off and I also think it is necessary to have reserves if someone pulls out for any reason. Having your first tournament unfinished wouldn't be professional and look good to the public, I believe and hope that those who don't get into the tournament will enjoy following it and that it will make them want to participate even more. They are also guaranteed to participate in season two if their interest remains. I hope nobody feels that we're letting them down, we're gonna work hard to offer more than just our tournaments for everyone to enjoy their time in the community. EDIT: It would also interfere with the future system of the league as I believe that it should be 8 teams in each division. As written, that equals playing both your matches against one opponent each day and feels like something we should pull off. If it goes very well then surely we can expand the league and make each division bigger. |

Sounds good man, I just really want this site to flourish as it has really become a pain in the butt to find manual games online, and EA made it harder by removing the lobbies. Can't wait to start and hope everything goes as plan. |

What about recording at least each match replays (the ones at the end) and uploading to youtube? maybe this could be home player duty.

Not everyone will use YouTube though. If they wanted and a time and date was set. Maybe live streaming the game via the Share Function might be a good idea. But again, it's down to the individuals choice.

I have thought about Youtube actually. I think I'm going to stream my matches on our Twitch-channel at least, I hope that more people will do the same or at least upload the matches afterwards.

Sounds like this is getting underway nicely. I would personally love to see some extended highlights from each game of ~ 2-4 minutes in length and will definitely be making such next season. I don't really have an interest in watching more than the occasional full game.
